Teague Alexy with Saltydog at 20th Annual Rhythm of the River Music Festival

Teague Alexy will be playing two sets on Saturday, July 11 at the 2026 Rhythm of the River Music Festival in Jackson, Minnesota. Originally planned to be backed by his Common Thread band, Teague will now be joined by jam and funk band Saltydog for his 2:30 pm set on the main stage. Jacob Mahon of Saltydog plays on Teague's new album, Effervescent. Teague will also be playing an acoustic set on the church stage at 4:30. 

The 20th Annual Rhythm of the River Festival also features some of Teague's longtime musical friends including Erik Koskinen (Erik produced Teague's album This Dance and also plays on The New Folklore and Circuit Sessions) and Pert Near Sandstone (Teague plays harmonica on the Pert Near Sandstone album Needle and Thread).

Teague Alexy's new album "Effervescent" is now streaming everywhere. The album features the singles "Babylon Babblin," "Sidesteppin' Man" and "Lion's Share."
